A freelance artist who never stays in the same spot too long, Penpoint got her start making fanzines. During university, she collaborated with the Creative Comic Collection to publish Desert Hospital and Jungle Hospital, a series of short story comics inspired by Taiwan's international medical aid efforts.
In her self-published picture book DEEP INSIDE,
Penpoint depicts a scientist's inner journey of exploration,
featuring meticulously drawn stratified layers and microscopic slices of the human body.

Penpoint also recently sought to create works that interpret erotic themes through softer,
warmer characters, including the short comic stories Rainy Day and Lovely Meal Time
as well as a collection of illustrations titled Let's Talk About Love Love released by Dala Publishing.

Flashing Scales and Flaming Torches, selected for inclusion in Angoulême’s artist residency project,
depicts the fantastical story of a fisherman, a restless soul, and a giant blue-scaled fish.
The story is inspired by a traditional fishing technique unique to Jinshan,
Taiwan in which sulfuric torches are used to lure fish into nets at night.
