Born in 1998, and currently pursuing a degree in the Department of Communications Design at Shih Chien University, including a graduation exhibition at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in May 2020. Currently working on a game storyboard, and interactive design. She has experimented in a variety of styles, including manga comics, illustration, 2D animation, 3D animation, and literary prose.

2020 Angouleme Draw Me Comics contest accepted entrants.

2019 anime, Yue Shi (Lunar Eclipse), an experimental multimedia work, accepted into the first stage.

《The Silhouette》

In her everyday life, the protagonist represses and hides herself, constantly followed by the shadows of those things she is unwilling to face. She seeks to escape these shadows, which transform from human form to demonic, becoming all the more threatening. Under this relentless pursuit, she must bravely cast off her oppressive disguise, escape the demons, and make peace with herself.

LIU Chien Fan - 2020 Angouleme Young Talent Competition

LIU Chien-Fan

Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, originally worked as a design artist. Moved to France in 2012 to study art, and graduated in 2015 from Besancon Arts Institute. Now lives between Scotland and Taiwan, working as a freelance artist. Her work is focused on manga comics, animation, and illustration, and she regularly publishes online and in zine format. In 2018, in collaboration with fellow artist Elainee, established the independent seasonal publication BO-ING Comix.

Founded in June 1991, Ever Glory handles authorized translations and publishing of Japanese manga while also supporting the continued development of original artists and material. In recent years, Ever Glory has published many popular works and helped further the careers of numerous talented writers and illustrators. Aside from publishing original comics, Ever Glory actively collaborates with fanfiction creators to help them publish their own work. In July 2017, Ever Glory officially launched "Fhomebook", a full-fledged digital publishing platform that allows original creators to submit their own comics, illustrations, and novels.

Frontier Anime is a professional company that promotes Taiwanese animation and dōjin culture and has published a number of academic books on Taiwanese comics culture.

Uei-Shiang was founded in March 2002 as a comics publisher.
